Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy describes how Vortex Mobile, operated by EactiveNet, Inc., uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on vortexmobile.com, subscriber dashboards, and related web applications. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage serve similar functions in modern browsers. We also use server-side session identifiers bound to HTTP-only cookies for authentication.
3. Categories of Cookies
3.1 Strictly Necessary (Functional)
Required for core operation. Cannot be disabled without breaking Service:
vortex_auth— encrypted session cookie after AuthForge login;vortex_cookie_consent— records banner acceptance (local storage);- Theme preference (light/dark) via next-themes;
- Load-balancer affinity for API requests;
- AuthForge OAuth state cookies during sign-in flows.
3.2 Payment (Stripe)
During checkout and billing portal sessions, Stripe may set functional cookies to prevent fraud and maintain PCI-compliant payment flows. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
3.3 Analytics
With your consent via our cookie banner, we may deploy first-party analytics to measure page performance, plan conversion, and error rates. Analytics data is aggregated and does not include call content or voicemail media.
3.4 Security and Anti-Fraud
Device fingerprinting and velocity controls protect against credential stuffing, SIP scanning, and payment fraud. These technologies may persist across sessions to enforce account-level bans at the edge.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Vortex does not permit third-party advertising networks on subscriber-facing properties. AuthForge and Stripe may set cookies within their respective authentication and payment domains when you interact with those services.
5. Your Choices
Decline non-essential cookies via the site banner. Strictly necessary and security cookies remain active for authenticated sessions. Clear browser storage to reset consent. Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not uniformly honored across the industry; we respond to Global Privacy Control where legally required.
6. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser or sign out. Persistent cookies vary from thirty (30) days to twelve (12) months depending on purpose. AuthForge and Stripe retention is governed by their policies.
