Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. Introduction
Vortex Mobile, operated by EactiveNet, Inc. ("Vortex," "we," "us"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit vortexmobile.com, create an account through AuthForge identity services, subscribe to wireless or VoIP services, use mobile applications, or interact with our network infrastructure.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Identity Data
Name, email address, authentication identifiers from AuthForge, billing address, service address (for E911), password hashes (never stored in plaintext by Vortex), and enterprise contact details for business accounts.
2.2 Payment Data
Payment card and bank details are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. Vortex receives tokens, last-four digits, expiration metadata, and transaction history—not full card numbers.
2.3 Telecommunications and Usage Data
Call detail records (CDR), SMS metadata, SIP registration logs, IP addresses, device identifiers, push notification tokens (APNs/FCM), visual voicemail media, CNAM query logs, and prepaid wallet ledger entries.
2.4 Technical and Security Data
Browser type, operating system, cookie identifiers, device fingerprints for fraud prevention, API access logs, and telemetry from our network status monitoring systems.
3. How We Use Information
- Provision, bill, and support wireless and VoIP services;
- Route E911 calls and comply with CALEA, CPNI, and lawful intercept obligations where applicable;
- Authenticate SIP registrations and prevent toll fraud;
- Process porting requests with the Number Portability Administration Center and carriers;
- Send transactional communications regarding billing, outages, and policy updates;
- Improve network performance and develop new features;
- Enforce Acceptable Use policies and defend against chargebacks.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Visitors)
Where GDPR applies, we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (fraud prevention, network security), legal obligation, and consent where required for non-essential cookies or marketing.
5. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
Under FCC rules, certain telecommunications usage data constitutes CPNI. We will not disclose CPNI to third parties for marketing without your opt-in consent. You may approve the use of CPNI to display account usage in your dashboard. Authentication factors may be required before CPNI is released to customer support.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We share personal information with:
- Underlying CMRS carriers and interconnect partners to complete calls and messages;
- Stripe for payment processing;
- AuthForge for identity authentication;
- Cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, object storage, databases) under data processing agreements;
- Public safety answering points for E911;
- Law enforcement when compelled by valid legal process;
- Successors in the event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
7. Retention
Account data is retained for the life of the subscription plus seven (7) years for billing and regulatory compliance. CDRs and SMS logs may be retained per FCC and state requirements. Voicemail media is deleted upon subscriber request or account closure, subject to backup retention cycles.
8. Security
We employ TLS encryption, SIP digest authentication, Redis-backed session controls, role-based admin access, Stripe PCI-compliant payment flows, and infrastructure isolation between public edge and private orchestration networks. No method of transmission is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal information. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA by contacting privacy@vortexmobile.com. We will verify requests using AuthForge authentication or alternate verification factors. Deletion may require account termination where data is necessary to provide Service.
10. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States. By using the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to transfer and processing in jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent privacy protections.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact privacy@vortexmobile.com if you believe a child has provided personal information.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy with notice via email or website posting. Material changes will be highlighted before taking effect.
